Frequently Asked Questions

We request that you leave your bin at the curb the evening before collection or by 6:00 AM on collection day.

Bins should be at the curb with the lid opening toward the street. They should be at least three (3) feet away from each other and any otherobjects (such as mailboxes, cars, and trees) so the arm of the truck can grab the bin.

Regular household trash can be placed in the bin. We recommend securing all trash in plastic bags. We do not collect construction materials, dirt, or mulch in our bins. 

For the most up-to-date recycling information, we recommend that you visit your county’s recycling website.

Bagged yard waste can be placed into the trash bins.  Dirt and mulch should be removed prior to placing the waste into the bins.

Bulk items incur separate disposal fees based on the size and weight of the item. These collections must be scheduled in advance. Please contact our office to make arrangements.

All trash must be placed inside the provided bin(s) for collection. We are unable to collect anything outside the bin. If an additional bin is needed, please contact our office and we will add that to your account.  Additional charges will apply. 

Trash collection only changes if the holiday falls on your collection day (for example, only Monday’s route isaffectedby Memorial Day and Labor Day, which fall on Mondays, and only Thursday’s route is affected by Thanksgiving). In these cases, you will receive an email notifying you of the change in service and what to expect.

The holidays that we observe are: New Year’s Day (January 1^st), Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4^th), Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas (December 25^th).
